IDENTITY VERIFICATION AND PROTECTION

Anti-money laundering regulations continue to strengthen with the view to providing greater protections against financial crime. As part of this, every bank is legally required to routinely review and verify that the customer information they hold is up to date.

Identity verification is managed by National Australia Bank (NAB) on behalf of Medfin (which is a subsidiary of NAB). As part of our review process, Medfin customers may be contacted to ensure that we hold the most correct and up to date customer identity data.

You may have recently been contacted advising that your accounts(s) are due for identity verification with the NAB Identity Protect team.

To keep you safe, SMS messages from NAB won’t contain any phone numbers or hyperlinks.
