Specialist/Consultant Paediatrician - Brisbane, QLD

Department: Paediatrics

  • 9-bed General Paediatric Ward
  • 4-cot Nursery
  • High Dependency Unit (HDU) capacity
  • Referral hub with tertiary support via Retrieval Services Queensland
  • Acute and inpatient services for a range of paediatric and neonatal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality paediatric care to children and neonates
  • Collaborate with junior medical staff to ensure efficient clinical service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical services across multiple sites if required.

Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory:

  • MBBS or equivalent with registration from the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP – Paediatrics and Child Health) or equivalent qualification.
  • Enrolment in ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programs.

Preferred:

  • At least one year of holding FRACP.
  • Compliance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
