New permanent role for an experienced Physiotherapist/Senior Physiotherapist to join this regional health service. The location is based two hours from Canberra and four hours from Sydney. My last Senior Physiotherapist stayed with the service for three years!
 
You will lead the Physiotherapy team of 4 Physiotherapists and 2 Allied Health Assistants. Providing publicly funded physiotherapy services in a hospital setting to inpatients, outpatients and community patients. Enjoy working across a varied caseload, building specialist clinical skills, leading the team to meet organisational targets and patients health needs and being a senior member of a large Allied health team (over 20 staff). There is scope to tailor your caseload to your area of interest.
 
In this role, you will:

• Provide clinical and team leadership to a large Physiotherapy department who provide physiotherapy services to sub-acute ward in-patients (including rehabilitation, geriatrics and palliative care), acute ward, outpatients (paediatric to adult) and community patients in the Hilltops rural area.
• Provide supervision and support to junior therapists, allied health assistants and students. Senior role is supported by Allied Health Team Leader and access to regular supervision and professional development.
• Deliver quality, client-centred Physiotherapy assessment and treatment across a rural generalist caseload.
• Foster a positive flexible Physiotherapy team, facilitate education and quality improvement projects, represent Physio team in the MDT setting, monitor team workload and ensure adherence to output targets and KPIs. 

 
The role is open to Senior Physiotherapists or experienced Physiotherapists who are looking to take a step up into leadership.
