As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to older adults, managing complex medical conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of geriatric models of care, including orthogeriatric, cognitive assessment clinics, and rehabilitation services.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, registrars, and allied health professionals.
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance continuity of care and promote healthy aging.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Registration with AHPRA as a specialist in Geriatric Medicine (or eligibility for registration).
- Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex geriatric cases and providing holistic care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to improving geriatric care services through innovation and education.
