About the Role
 
The successful applicant will be joining a health service providing a range of hospital, community and home-based services across multiple sites in the northern and north-eastern Adelaide region. The health service employs approximately 6,000 staff and delivers comprehensive services to over 400,000 people residing in the community.

Working as Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be delivering high quality mental health services in an Acute Adult Inpatient ward. The ward holds 12 PICU beds and 38 acute beds. There are 6.5 full-time equivalent consultants (including Head of Unit) and 10 full-time equivalent Junior Medical Staff. Within the ward there is a large multidisciplinary team consisting of psychology, carer consultants, peer support workers, nurses, occupational therapists and social workers, all working collaboratively to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred, recovery focused services.
