As the Director of Medicine, you will:

  • Lead medical service delivery across inpatient and outpatient care, including General Medicine, Renal, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and other specialty clinics.
  • Oversee a 22-bed Medical Ward, Renal & Cancer Care Units, and an ICU/HDU.
  • Manage remote and outreach services to Indigenous and rural communities.
  • Drive clinical governance, workforce planning, and quality improvement. Mentor and supervise junior doctors, trainees, and medical students.

What We’re Looking For

  • FRACP (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians) or equivalent. Dual Fellowship (e.g., General Medicine + Nephrology, Oncology, Endocrinology, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in leadership, service development, and workforce management.
  • Commitment to rural and Indigenous healthcare.
  • Strong skills in clinical education, governance, and patient safety initiatives.
